The butterfly clasp is secure but easy to do one-handed, which I appreciate. The gold roll adds a nice warmth against the pearls.

The baroque pearls have such an organic, irregular glow that catches the light beautifully—much more interesting than standard round pearls. I was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight they feel despite the cluster design, and the 24k rolled gold hasn't irritated my sensitive ears at all.

The butterfly backs actually stay put all day, which I didn't expect from a drop earring this delicate. The baroque pearls have such a lovely uneven shape that they catch light differently on each side. Wore them to a wedding and got three compliments before dinner.
